Reproductive Freedoms
MAGA extremists are aggressively attacking reproductive freedom across our state. In 2024, they introduced a bill to ban abortion at just 15 days gestation, effectively outlawing the procedure. They also blocked efforts to enshrine reproductive freedom in the state constitution and advanced legislation requiring abortion providers to report sensitive data, potentially infringing on patient privacy. These dangerous extremists also tried to pass a law allowing men to halt a woman’s abortion without proving paternity — even in cases involving charges of sexual assault or violence.

In the state that has always prided itself on setting a national example with our primary elections, extremists in our own government are working hard to undermine the fundamental democratic process of voting.
Since 2020, they have attempted to call an audit of election results despite no clear evidence of fraud and passed laws to suppress voters through stringent photo ID requirements, including for absentee ballots.

Public Education
MAGA extremists are launching an all-out assault on public education in New Hampshire.
In 2022 and 2023, they made numerous proposals to expand school vouchers by expanding eligibility and poaching funding directly from local public schools. They’ve turned our schools into the main battleground in their “culture war” by attempting to strip local schools of funding, censoring and threatening educators’ livelihoods for not falling in line with their extremist ideology, and interfering in personal decisions that should remain strictly between students and their families.

Workers’ Rights
Anti-worker extremists tried to enact a “right-to-work” law, in an attempt to discourage union membership and undermine the power of organized labor. Then in 2023, these forces again launched a joint attack on unions and educators with a bill to limit union meeting time for school employees.

State Representative and Majority Leader Jason Osborne Is a MAGA Extremist

Osborne admitted to using racial slurs multiple times on an online libertarian website in 2011. He also made a post in which he questioned the need for a law determining the age of consent for sex. - Spread disinformation
In 2023, he falsely falsely claimed Democratic support for abortions up to the moment of birth. - Used attacks on reproductive freedom in his attempt to defund local schools
Drawing direct comparisons in overturning Roe v. Wade, Osborne pushed to overturn New Hampshire’s school funding system. - Supported by billionaire special interests
Endorsed by the organization Americans for Prosperity, a right-wing group funded by the billionaire Koch Brothers.
